Rix F 200 Yamaha Valve Spring Compressor uses a hands off/no slip design that prevent retainers from slipping off during assembly/disassembly. 

Once spring is compressed the valve stem keeper groove is exposed to provide maximum accessibility. With compressed air springs can be changed at trackside with the head installed.
